They’re currently available for trips starting outside Central London, offering passengers price certainty and helping boost demand.
Do I have to accept Fixed Fare jobs?
No, accepting Fixed Fare jobs is completely optional. This feature is designed to help drivers increase demand and earnings, but you're free to opt out at any time.
How can I opt out of Fixed Fares?
You can opt out by:
- Filling out our opt-out form (also shared via the driver newsletter)
- Contacting support and requesting removal
- Visiting the Freenow office during operating hours
Note: Many drivers are now opting back in after recent improvements. If you'd like to rejoin and access more trip opportunities, use the same form.
Are airport trips included in Fixed Fares?
No. Airport jobs are not part of the Black Cab Fixed Fare fleet.
Any trip to or from an airport follows standard airport pricing and will appear under the regular Black Cab fleet, not the Fixed Fare option.
Can I see fare details before accepting a Fixed Fare job?
Yes. You'll always see the fixed price and destination before accepting the job in the app.
