What is a Long-Distance Pickup Bonus?
This bonus compensates you for the extra time, fuel, and effort involved in longer pickups. If you accept a trip with a longer-than-usual Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) in Outer London, you'll earn a bonus on top of the regular fare.
How does it work?
To ensure drivers are fairly compensated for longer pickups and to maintain a reliable service for passengers, a long-distance fee is applied to trips with an ETA exceeding the norm for the area and time. Passengers requesting such trips will see this additional fee included in their total fare before booking. This fee, after VAT is deducted, is then passed on to the driver as a bonus, in addition to their regular fare.
How will I see the bonus in the app?
The bonus amount will be clearly displayed upfront in a red banner on the offer card, so you'll always know how much extra you'll earn.
The bonus will be automatically added to your earnings after the trip is completed. No extra steps are required from you.
