How to add a vehicle to my account
You can add a new vehicle via the FREENOW Portal directly:
- Log in with your credentials
- Go to ‘Vehicles’ > 'Add Vehicle’
- Enter the licence plate, make, model, year of manufacturer, engine type and seats
- Upload the relevant documents
- Submit your application
Your documents will be reviewed by the Driver Services team. Once approved you will receive a confirmation email to let you know that your documents have been approved.
How to include an 'eco vehicle' to my account (PHV only)
FREENOW's Green Ride fleet offers passengers the option to travel in eco-friendly vehicles, including Electric and Plug-in Hybrid models.
To qualify for the Green Ride fleet, your vehicle must be Zero Emissions Capable as defined by TfL. You can check all the requirements on the TfL website.
If your vehicle meets the criteria, it will be automatically added when you onboard or update your vehicle. Ensure you select the correct model when registering.
If your eligible vehicle does not show as Electric or Plug-in Hybrid after the model type, contact our Driver Care Team via chat to resolve the issue:
- Open the app
- Go to ☰ > Help > Help Centre > Chat.
How to delete a vehicle from my account
If you need to delete and add a new car to your FREENOW account, you'll only need to update the existing information.
