Get yourself active by following the steps below:
- Open the Freenow app
- Slide the yellow bar at the top of the screen to go 'Free' - the bar will turn green
- Now you are free and online, ready to receive and accept trips
Please note: If your app is set to 'You're busy' (yellow) you will not be able to receive any job requests.
How to accept an offer
- When a job comes through, you will see the pick-up and destination address
- Click 'Accept' at the bottom of the screen to take the job
- Read all the details included in this service. Sometimes, passengers add a message with extra information you must know. Swipe up the offer card and check the below page, 2nd line (under the user's name)
Please note that an extremely low acceptance rate may result in a temporary blocking of your account. Only make yourself available when you actually want to run with Freenow. If you are doing another run outside the app, we advise you to put yourself on ‘Busy’.
How to reject an offer
There is no need to do anything; the job offer will disappear after a few seconds if no action is taken.
How to manage fleet options
You have full control to select which optional fleet types you want to receive trip offers for based on the categories available in your area/profile.
You can activate or deactivate Black Cab Promo at any time depending on your preferences, schedule, or driving goals.
How to Turn Black Cab Promo On or Off
Open Preferences: On the main map screen of your Driver App, tap the Preferences icon (the sliders icon) located near the bottom right.
View Available Options: Scroll to the Enable optional ride types section to see all the eligible categories available to you.
Toggle Your Settings:
To activate: Switch the toggle next to Black Cab Promo to ON.
To deactivate: Switch the toggle to OFF.
Note: Changes take effect immediately, and you can update your choices whenever you like to suit your driving preferences.
No Impact on Core Trip Types: Toggling optional ride types on or off does not affect your other fleet types—you will still receive offers for all the other trips you qualify for.
