Your Acceptance Rate measures how often you accept trip offers dispatched to you. Maintaining a high acceptance rate ensures a steady flow of trip requests and higher overall earnings for all drivers across the network.
This calculation does not include offers displayed for less than 5 seconds, hop-on trips and advance bookings.
What counts towards your Acceptance Rate?
Your rate is calculated based on trip offers received over a rolling 7-day period. However, not all offers affect your rate. The following are excluded from your calculation:
- Offers displayed on your screen for less than 5 seconds
- Street hail trips processed directly through the app
- Pre-booked trips
How is the 7-day window calculated?
Your Acceptance Rate and Cancellation Rate are based on a rolling 7-day window. The system updates and saves your rate in two ways:
When you take action during your shift: Every time you accept, reject, or cancel a trip offer, the system immediately calculates your rate based on your activity over the exact last 7 days (up to that specific hour and minute) and saves it.
Every night at midnight: An automated system job runs at midnight (12:00 AM) to recalculate your rate for the last 7 full days. This updated score is saved and becomes your official rate until your next trip action or until the next midnight check.
💡 Practical Example: How your rate changes
Suppose today is October 1:
Scenario A — During a shift (1:00 PM):
You accept a trip on Oct 1 at 1:00 PM. The system calculates your rate using all your trip activity between Sept 24 at 1:00 PM and Oct 1 at 1:00 PM. This value is stored as your current rate.
Scenario B — On a day off (Midnight calculation):
You had a day off on Oct 1 and didn't complete any trips. At midnight on Oct 1 (12:00 AM), the system automatically recalculates your rate using your activity from Sept 24 at 12:00 AM to Oct 1 at 12:00 AM. Any rejected trips from Sept 23 fall outside the 7-day window, so your rate automatically improves on Oct 2 morning without you taking a single trip!
The Warning & Suspension System
If your acceptance rate falls below the threshold indicated in your app, our system triggers a multi-step warning process to give you time to adjust:
- First Notification: You will receive an in-app notification informing you that your acceptance rate has dropped below the recommended threshold.
- Second Reminder (24 hours later): If your rate does not improve within 24 hours of the first notice, a second alert will remind you that your account is at risk of temporary suspension.
- Temporary Account Block (3 Days): If your acceptance rate remains below the threshold after both notifications, your account will be blocked for 3 days.
Pro tips to protect your Acceptance Rate
- Set yourself to 'busy': Whenever you need a break or don't want to accept offers, switch your status to Busy or log off. This prevents missed offers from hurting your rate.
- Adjust your preferred pickup radius: During peak hours, reduce your pickup radius to receive nearby offers. During off-peak hours, widen your radius to capture more demand.
