Service Animals (Guide & Assistance Dogs)
🚗 You must always accept service dogs, as required by FREENOW policy and the law. These dogs assist individuals with disabilities, including hidden disabilities.
❌ Refusing a service animal is a serious offence that could lead to prosecution and loss of your licence.
Non-Service Animals
If a passenger brings a non-service pet, the decision is yours. Your vehicle is your property, and you have the right to refuse the trip if you prefer not to transport pets.
What If I’m Allergic to Animals?
If you have a medical condition that prevents you from accepting service animals, you’ll need to obtain an exemption certificate from your local licensing authority. This certificate must be kept in your vehicle for every trip.
📌 Tip: Check the booking notes in the offer card, as passengers often inform drivers in advance if they’re bringing a pet.
