The Permission Letter is evidence from the vehicle owner or rental company that you have their permission to use the vehicle for private hire.
Requirements:
- Details of the company providing the vehicle.
- Your details (name and address) which must match your DVLA Plastic Driving Licence.
- Vehicle registration, make and model which must match your V5C Logbook and your Freenow profile.
- Permission start and end date.
- The letter must be signed by the lessor
- It must contain the insurance policy number which needs to match the current insurance certificate.
Common reasons for rejection:
- Vehicle or driver details are missing or not matching.
- Policy number does not match the insurance certificate provided.
- Signature is missing.
