Fares are calculated by the meter. This is a regulation of the area in which Freenow operates according to the National Transport Authority (NTA).
Passengers are given an estimated fare in advance via the app, but this isn't a fixed fare. You can enter the final fare in the app at the end of the trip. Learn more about how to enter a fare into the app here.
When you receive a quote for a fixed fare, a green banner with the fare will appear at the top of the quote card, so you can see it before you decide to accept.
With a fixed price, you can't make any adjustments - payment is processed automatically at the end of the trip.
