How long can I drive for?
If you've driven on the Freenow app for more than 10 hours out of the last 24 hours you will receive a prompt and will be temporarily blocked from collecting passengers.
This has been put into place to encourage you to take a break and recharge. You will be unable to complete trips for the following 8 hours.
Can I drive using a rental vehicle?
Yes! You can use a rented vehicle on the Freenow app as long as you have the required documentation, the vehicle is fully insured, and is licensed to carry passengers.
If you change your rented vehicle, it is your responsibility to notify our Driver Care Team via chat to update your details accordingly.
Failure to do so is a breach of our Terms and Conditions and may result in the suspension of your account.
Are other people (other than passengers) allowed in my vehicle?
In the interest of safety and comfort for Freenow passengers, friends and family of drivers are not permitted in their vehicle when they're working.
If you're online, ensure you don't have any other passengers, besides the designated passenger and their companions riding in your vehicle.
How to handle airport jobs and avoid penalties
Airport trips really matter to passengers. After a long journey, they count on us for a smooth, reliable, and quick ride. That’s why it’s so important to complete every accepted airport job. It helps meet passengers' expectations and keeps our service professional.
To ensure service quality, we monitor cancellations and if certain criteria aren’t met, you will be notified. If there is no change, it can lead your airport access being suspended:
- First Warning: A formal notice regarding unusual activity.
- Temporary Suspension: Continued issues will result in a temporary suspension from the airport queue. You will not receive airport jobs during this time.
- Indefinite Suspension: For persistent non-compliance, access to the airport queue will be suspended indefinitely.
Your access to airport jobs is at risk if you:
- Accept an airport job and then cancel it shortly after, without first reaching the pick-up point and waiting the required time for the passenger.
- Show a pattern of unusual activity that suggests an abuse of the airport queue system (e.g., repeatedly accepting and cancelling trips).
