How to log in to the FREENOW Driver app
To log in:
- Open the app and tap 'Sign in to an existing account'
- Enter your username which is your email address
- Enter your password - this will be the same password used when signing up
- Tap 'Log in'
Your credentials for both the Driver app and the FREENOW Portal are the same.
How to stay logged into the FREENOW driver app
For that, you'll need to enable the 'cookie files' in your phone settings:
- Exit the app without logging out (otherwise, you'll have to re-enter your username and password)
- Next, make sure you have an internet browser installed on your phone (Safari, Chrome, Opera, Firefox, etc.)
- Once you've downloaded/confirmed an internet browser you can enable your cookie files
To enable your cookie files
- iPhone
- Click 'Settings'
- Click 'Safari' (or any other browser of your choice)
- Turn off 'Block all cookies'
- Android
- Open your internet browser
- Click 'Settings' > 'Site settings'
- Click 'Cookies' > 'Allow cookies'
What is Multi-Factor Authentication?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA or 2FA) is a security process that requires users to verify their identity using two or more methods before accessing a website or app. This ensures an extra layer of protection for your account.
At FREENOW, we use MFA to enhance the security of the driver login process. MFA is only triggered when you log in from a new or different device than the one you used previously.
How it works
- Begin by logging into your FREENOW account as usual
- You’ll be prompted to verify your identity
- A unique code will be sent to you via the method linked to your account—SMS, phone call, or email
- Enter the code in the app to complete the login process and access your account
I'm unable to login to my FREENOW Driver app
Logging in may fail for the following reasons:
- You forgot your password > More info here
- Your account has been suspended > Tap here for possible causes
- You're entering your username incorrectly > Your username should be an email address. If you have a different username (e.g. a name/word), the login process may not be working correctly. Contact us, so we provide you with your credentials
- Your Driver app is outdated > More info here
