What do Acceptance Rate mean?
This refers to the percentage of trip offers you accept from those dispatched to you over a rolling 7-day timeframe. Not all offers are factored into this calculation. Instances include offers displayed for less than 5 seconds, street hails processed through the app, and pre-bookings.
Elevating your acceptance rate can lead to an increase in the volume of offers you receive.
Why does the acceptance rate matter?
- A low acceptance rate leads to longer wait times, passenger cancellations, and an overall negative user experience.
- Negative experiences may lead users to choose alternative transportation options instead of booking with FREENOW.
- Fewer passengers mean fewer job opportunities and lower earnings for all drivers.
What is the acceptance rate warning system?
If our system consistently detects a low acceptance rate, your account may be temporarily blocked from receiving service.
Here's how it works:
- You'll receive a notification in the app if your acceptance rate falls below the threshold indicated on the app. This notification prompts you to increase your acceptance rate so we can provide a stable service to the passengers.
- If your acceptance rate falls below the threshold indicated on the app within 24 hours, you will receive a second notification to remind you that if you do not improve, your account may be suspended.
- If your performance doesn't improve after the two notifications, your account will be blocked for 3 days.
You can check your acceptance rate anytime in the menu of your app under your profile.
Pro tips!
-
- Set yourself to 'busy' when you don't want to receive offers to avoid impacting your acceptance rate.
- Adjust your preferred pickup radius to receive offers that align with your location and preferences. For instance, during peak hours, reduce the radius to increase the likelihood of nearby demand. Conversely, during off-peak hours, increase the radius to ensure you receive enough offers.
