How do I opt out of Onsi driver benefits?
We’ve partnered with Onsi to give the UK’s Black Cab and taxi drivers access to a unique insurance & on-demand pay package.
What will the benefits include?
Accident & sickness insurance (including accidental death and permanent disablement).
- This insurance cover offers you financial protection for accidental death, permanent disability, temporary total disability for up to 80% of historical baseline earnings*, accidental medical expenses and hospitalisation.
Compassionate & parental leave
- This provides you with a lump sum to cover time off if you welcome a new family member or lose a loved one.
On-demand pay
- Get early access to your earnings with the Onsi App, available the day after your trip. (Friday–Sunday trips follow your normal payday.)
Is there any withdrawal fee?
We want to give Freenow Black Cab drivers the flexibility to withdraw your Freenow earnings as early as the next day*
- Each withdrawal incurs a minimal fee of £1.15, but we offer FREE withdrawals to drivers in our loyalty programme as a way to reward your hard work. Each month, you can enjoy a specified number of free withdrawals based on your loyalty tier:
- Bronze: 2 free withdrawal per month
- Silver: 3 free withdrawals per month
- Gold: 5 free withdrawals per month

How does it work?
- If you haven't already, ‘Sign up’ with Onsi using this link
- Please make sure to use the email address registered with Freenow when signing up.
- If you’re eligible, you’ll automatically receive an invitation email from Onsi to join their platform.
- Once registered, open the Onsi app for detailed information about your cover and how each benefit works.
Eligibility criteria:
- You need to be an active Freenow Black Cab or Taxi driver to receive these benefits
For Insurance benefits only:
- You’ve reached at least Bronze status in the Freenow loyalty programme
- Once you reach Bronze loyalty status, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the insurance programme for the following month 🎉

How do I opt out of Onsi driver benefits?
To provide you with the benefits Onsi offers, they do need to know who you are so you can be invited to their platform.
But, if you don't want Freenow to share your details with Onsi, fill in this opt-out form.
This will mean you will no longer have access to accident, sickness, compassionate leave, parental leave insurance, food & fuel discounts, or the cashback rewards card.
